MPR News features Jewish Refugees in Shanghai (1933 1941) Exhibit

The Confucius Institute at the University of Minnesota, the Sabes JCC, and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas proudly present Jewish Refugees in Shanghai (1933-1941): A Journey of hope for more than 18,000 Jews to China, an international exhibit that tells the stories of European Jews who immigrated to Shanghai to escape Nazi persecution. The full exhibit runs March 19 May 7, 2015, at the Sabes JCC. The stories of four Jewish refugees from Shanghai with deep Minnesota connections will also be on display at the JCC of the Greater St. Paul Area March 19 May 7, 2015.
