DESCRIPTION:Learn to recognize and address potentially threatening behavior while remaining warm and welcoming.\nJCRC is offering “Usher/Greeter Training” in advance of the high holidays. This training will review how ushers\, greeters\, and other public-facing volunteers and staff should recognize and address potentially threatening behavior while keeping a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The training will be conducted by psychologists who specialize in de-escalating volatile behavior. \nWho Should Attend:\nThis course is appropriate for anyone in a public-facing role in institutions. Specifically\, these roles will particularly benefit: \n\n    Ushers / Greeters and other public-facing volunteers\n    Teachers\n    Social workers\n\nRegistration required.\n
