SUMMARY:Unveiling of Kindertransport History Bench
DESCRIPTION:JCRC and the Barry Family Campus welcome you to attend the unveiling of a Kindertransport History Bench on our campus. The Kindertransport History Bench offers visitors a space to reflect\, rest\, and engage with history. Each bench includes a QR code that links to video testimonies from Kindertransport survivors\, preserving their voices and experiences for generations to come. \nThis is one of  a series of benches chosen to be placed in community centers\, memorial gardens\, and museums across the country — turning everyday spaces into immersive opportunities for remembrance and education. \nJoin us on Tuesday\, Sept 15th at 12:00 PM for this meaningful installation event\, which will include light refreshments and remarks from: \n\nSteve Hunegs\, JCRC Executive Director \nSusie Greenberg\, JCRC Director of Holocaust Education\nNick Winton\, son of Sir Nicholas Winton who organized the Kindertransport from Czechoslovakia before the Second World War saving 669 children.\nSandy Baron\, daughter of Kindertransport Holocaust Survivor\n\n  \nRegister \nIn partnership with:
