DESCRIPTION:In Person and Online\nRegistration Required \nJoin us for a timely and interactive conversation with Rabbi Zimmerman and two Jewish community leaders and experts on antisemitism: Melanie Maron Pell\, Deputy Director of the American Jewish Committee (AJC); and Steve Hunegs\, leader of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota & the Dakotas. \nDelve into antisemitism on a global\, national\, and local scale. Together\, we will think through what it means to be Jewish in our generation\, when the idea that antisemitism was a thing of the past has been so painfully proven to be untrue. We will talk about how we can respond to antisemitism in media and entertainment\, politics and in our local community.

Join us in welcoming Maayan for an encore screening of his award-winning film “Children of Peace”\, followed by a live moderated discussion about the film\, how the community is coping with the current crisis\, and what it can teach us about conflict and coexistence. \nPresented in partnership with Temple Israel\, Mount Zion Temple\, the Israel Center of the Minneapolis Jewish Federation\, Israel Programs of the St. Paul Jewish Federation\, and Jewish Community Relations Council. \n   \nThis program is made possible through JCC Association of North America in partnership with Israel’s Ministry for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism.
