DESCRIPTION:Disrupting Anti-Jewish Ideas in the Current Political Climate\nMonday\, November 18\, 3:15 – 4:45 PM\nMinnesota Hillel: 1521 University Ave. SE\, Minneapolis\, MN 55414 \nWorkshop open to: University admin\, faculty\, staff and professionals \nIn this workshop for allies\, participants will leave with analysis\, resources\, and strategies to address anti-Jewish harm in this moment. The program begins by unpacking Jewish identity\, what antisemitism is\, and how antisemitism uniquely operates. The program will explore why anti-Jewish ideas are often going unnoticed and how they create harm. Project Shema’s strategy nurtures empathy for all people and creates space for diverse perspectives\, nuance\, and allyship.
