October 7 Commemoration

One year since October 7, 2023

The Twin Cities Jewish community and all who stand with us gathered to mark one year since October 7, 2023. The gathering provided a shared space of solace and mourning to commemorate the lives of the victims of Hamas’ terror attack on October 7th. The victims, including non-Jewish Israelis, came from many faiths and backgrounds, as well as held citizenship from twenty countries. The program was led by Rabbis and Cantors of the Minnesota Rabbinical Association and Minnesota Cantors Association with shared stories from many community members to ensure that the memories of those we’ve lost remain a part of our community’s consciousness. We thank the many elected officials (listed below) who attended the commemoration.
