Over 650 community members, supporters and allies attended the 2026 JCRC Annual Event featuring Sarah Hurwitz, the White House speech writer and bestselling author of As a Jew: Reclaiming Our Story from Those Who Shame, Blame, and Try to Erase Us.

Sarah Hurwitz’s message was incredibly clear, when Jews know their story they cannot be diminished by hatred.

Against the mounting challenges facing our community here in Minnesota, the Dakotas and beyond, JCRC carries the story of our people forward with pride – safeguarding our community through education, advocacy and security.

Our work is only possible because of generous donations, and there is still time to give, or deepen your support for the 2026 Annual Event – our single largest fundraiser of the year.

We thank Senator Amy Klobuchar for her strong support in her remarks at our event and extend our condolences to Speaker Lisa Demuth, who was also scheduled to speak but lost her father just prior. As the consensus public affairs voice of the Jewish community, JCRC prioritizes long term relationship building and we thank the many elected officials and members of the military who attended Sunday evening.
