The Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas and Mount Zion Temple present:

Defining Antisemitism: A panel discussion on when criticism of Israel becomes antisemitism

Sunday, January 26 10:00-11:30 am
Mount Zion Temple, 1300 Summit Ave, St. Paul
(Webinar option available)

Co-Sponsored by: Hineni, St. Paul Jewish Federation, Beth Jacob Congregation, Jewish Community Action, Anti-Defamation League, and Temple of Aaron

With massive increases in both anti-Israel and anti-Jewish activity worldwide, how do we discern the difference between healthy criticism of Israel and antisemitism?
Jewish tradition cherishes parsing the meaning of words. Together we will explore where the three most recognized – and debated – definitions of antisemitism (IHRA, Nexus, Jerusalem) overlap and diverge regarding rhetoric that is critical of Israel.
