Learn to recognize and address potentially threatening behavior while remaining warm and welcoming.

JCRC is offering “Usher/Greeter Training” in advance of the high holidays. This training will review how ushers, greeters, and other public-facing volunteers and staff should recognize and address potentially threatening behavior while keeping a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The training will be conducted by psychologists who specialize in de-escalating volatile behavior.

Who Should Attend:

This course is appropriate for anyone in a public-facing role in institutions. Specifically, these roles will particularly benefit:

•     Ushers / Greeters and other public-facing volunteers
•     Teachers
•     Social workers
