September 9, 2026 — More than 5,000 leaders and public figures from entertainment, academia, literature, government, business, religion and civic life have joined an open letter rejecting the accusation that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza and warning that the charge has become a dangerous vehicle for scapegoating Jews and fueling antisemitism around the world.
